Privacy Policy

Effective July 15, 2026

This policy explains what personal information Great Escape Web & Business Services LLC (“we”, “us”) collects through North Idaho Food Trucks at www.northidahofoodtrucks.com (the “Site”), why we collect it, who we share it with, and what choices you have. It applies to everyone who uses the Site — visitors browsing for a truck, food truck vendors with an account, and anyone who contacts us.

1. Information you give us

  • Vendor accounts. Your email address, password, and truck name when you sign up. Passwords are stored hashed by our authentication provider; we never see them.
  • Vendor listings. Everything you enter about your truck — cuisine, town, street address, map pin, phone number, contact email, description, menu items, hours, and photographs. This information is published publicly on the Site by design.
  • Catering requests. Your name, email address, phone number, event address, event date, event type, and any details you add.
  • Contact messages. Your name, email address, and message.
  • Newsletter signups. Your email address.
  • Event submissions. The event details and any photograph you upload.

We do not ask for, and ask that you do not send us, sensitive information such as government identification numbers or health information.

2. Information collected automatically

We use Google Analytics to understand how the Site is used. It sets cookies and collects information such as your IP address (which Google truncates), device and browser type, pages viewed, referring site, and approximate location. We use this in aggregate to see which pages and trucks are popular — not to identify you individually.

You can opt out of Google Analytics across all sites using Google’s browser add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser. Google’s handling of this data is governed by its own privacy policy.

Our home page embeds our Facebook Page feed. The embed is loaded from Meta’s servers, so Meta may set its own cookies and receive your IP address and the fact that you visited that page, whether or not you have a Facebook account or interact with the feed. We do not receive that information. Meta’s handling of it is governed by its own privacy policy. Blocking third-party cookies, or using a content blocker, stops the embed from loading.

Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs (IP address, request time, page requested) for security and reliability. We set a session cookie when you log in as a vendor; it is required for the Site to work and is not used for advertising.

3. How we use your information

  • To operate the Site, publish vendor listings, and show the map and open/closed status.
  • To create and manage your vendor account and subscription.
  • To pass catering requests to food truck vendors (see Section 4).
  • To reply to your messages.
  • To send the newsletter, if you asked for it.
  • To review event submissions before publishing them.
  • To promote the Site and its vendors, including on social media.
  • To protect the Site against fraud, abuse, and security incidents, and to comply with law.

4. How we share your information

If you submit a catering request, your name, email address, phone number, and event details are emailed to food truck vendors on the Site so they can quote for your event. If you do not want your details shared with vendors, contact a vendor directly instead of using the catering form.

We also share information with the service providers that run the Site. They may only process it to provide their service to us:

  • Vercel — hosting and server logs.
  • Supabase — database, login accounts, and photo storage.
  • Stripe — subscription payments. Stripe collects your card details directly; we never receive or store your full card number.
  • Resend — sending email and managing newsletter contacts.
  • Google Analytics — usage analytics.
  • Meta (Facebook) — the embedded Facebook Page feed on our home page. See Section 2.

We may also disclose information if required by law or valid legal process, to enforce our Terms of Service, to protect the rights or safety of anyone, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of the business (in which case we will note it here).

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

5. How long we keep it

  • Vendor accounts and listings — while your account exists. If your subscription lapses, your listing is unpublished but your account and data are retained so you can return.
  • Catering requests and contact messages — kept as business records. Once we have emailed a catering request to vendors, we cannot recall it from their inboxes.
  • Newsletter subscribers — until you unsubscribe.
  • Analytics— per Google’s retention settings.

Backups may persist for a period after deletion before being overwritten.

6. Your choices and rights

  • Vendors can view and edit their listing information anytime from the vendor dashboard, and cancel a subscription from the same place.
  • Newsletter — click unsubscribe in any newsletter email, or email us.
  • Access or deletion — email info@northidahofoodtrucks.com and we will honour reasonable requests to access, correct, or delete your personal information, subject to records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons. We may need to verify your identity first.
  • Analytics — see the opt-out in Section 2.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your local privacy law. We apply the choices above to everyone regardless of location. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any privacy right.

7. Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Vendor accounts require you to be at least 18. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email info@northidahofoodtrucks.com and we will delete it.

8. Security

We use reputable providers, encrypted connections (HTTPS), and access controls to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Photographs uploaded to the Site are stored in publicly accessible storage — do not upload an image you would not want the public to see.

9. Where your information is processed

We and our providers process information in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, you understand your information will be processed there.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will post the new effective date at the top, and for material changes we will give reasonable notice. Continued use of the Site after a change takes effect means you accept it.
